A few months ago, I gave you a quick introduction on how to start with marketing automation in Kentico. I’d like to share few ideas on what to do next and show you why you shouldn’t be afraid of Marketing Automation. As explained in my previous blog post we need to start simple and then build our process. Trust me, you’ll learn easily and love it!

The term Marketing Automation is almost self-explanatory; it is a process of automating repetitive marketing activities. Marketing Automation can create a better customer experience and free up marketing resource, but it can also create a bottle neck.

We had a few scenarios where Email had to be personalized. The situation is pretty simple. The Marketing team is responsible for sending out Emails but Sales team should be contacted first. So we have the option of sending out Emails with a generic sales contact which is fine if we don’t have a sales team. What if we want the client to contact their sales representative? How to personalize that Email so it doesn’t look generic?
